About the Band...
We are happy to announce the uniting of five seasoned New Jersey musicians to form MECHANIC ST. BLUES PROJECT. Performing in the tri-state area for over thirty years, each member brings a unique instrumental/vocal talent interpreting classic blues tunes and artists of present and past.
Founded by Ken Milesky and Bob Podstawski. After years of playing country rock, we realized it was the blues that rooted us in music and together we could bring vintage blues to the NJ club scene. Recruiting Frank DeLuca on lead guitar, Dan Crotchery on bass, we created a tunes list of our favorite blues songs and began rehearsing. Band members changed as time went on which has resulted in the primo talent line up we deliver today including Ray Baniel on keys.
Sadly Ken unexpectedly passed away before our debut performance. His talent and stage presence are sorely missed but we know he's on stage with us at every performance. Filling his shoes on harp is Jon Bernstein who brings years of experience in a multitude of musical genres.
If you're a blues fan, we deliver the best of:
Buddy Guy
BB King
Albert Collins
Muddy Waters
Freddie King
Eric Clapton
Taj Mahal
Robin Trower
Albert King
Jonny Lange
Walter Trout
Guitar Shorty
Stevie Ray Vaughan
ZZ Top
...and much more.
Come 'gittyer' blues on with the MECHANIC ST. BLUES PROJECT!!
